Proudly owned and operated by a local Belizean family, this retreat is led by a passionate, hands-on mother-and-daughter team. Michelle actively manages the on-site wellness facilities and Martha’s Cafe, while her mother Martha, vibrant, creative, and inspiring, is deeply involved at 77 years young serving as the Creative Director, guiding the artistic vision and organic growth of the entire estate. Supported by a hardworking, dedicated and caring staff, genuine Belizean hospitality is infused into every detail of your stay.

What originally began as a charming collection of just 5 cottages in 2018 has grown organically into a premier 23-accommodation eco-conscious retreat. The hotel buildings were inspired by the architectural history of the colonial buildings that exist in Belize City. While the labyrinth is the focal point of the grounds, it also surrounded by an old wild fig tree, majestic royal palms and a variety of local fruit trees such as mangoes, tamarind, breadfruit, lime, avocados, pistachio, banana, and soursop.
